Beaverton Catcher Janelle Winship put the tag on this South Salem runner, but was called for blocking the plateBeaverton closed out a 3-game set in the North Medford Tournament on Tuesday with losses to South Salem and Churchill. The Beavers fell behind South Salem early and trailed 9-0 before rallying for 4 runs in the 6th and 7th innings.
In the second game, the Beavers fell behind Churchill 4-0 before a 6th inning rally featuring a 3-run triple by Freshman Megan Spooner. Trailing 4-3, the Beavers moved the tying run to 3rd base in the 7th, but were unable to bring her home.
